- I have also the same setup, and transfer speed is as low as 0,5 cps.
- This problem will be gone, if you buy a new serial-port with 16650
- UART. You probably just have 8250 UART, which was supplied with
- old-PCs. They don't have a buffer, and tend to slow down transfer
- rates. The serial port, can't keep up with the large amount of data
- transfered by the modem, and the modem have to keep repeating the
- transfer-operation over and over again..
